You know who makes your clothes? The Consell de Ibiza, in collaboration with the ethical and sustainable fashion firm Etikology y Fashion Revolution Spain organize one more year the Fashion Revolution Day in Ibiza.
In this fifth edition of 2021, diverse and interesting actions to invite us to reflect about fashion industry, a sector all too often associated with dire working conditions that include child exploitation and semi-slavery, in addition to being an industry, in general, highly polluting.
For all this, the Fashion Revolution initiative was born around the world, to promote ethical and sustainable fashion consumption, which is celebrated every year on April 24 in 70 adhering countries. This date commemorates the Plaza Rana tragedy, in Bangladesh, on April 24, 2013, when a building collapse caused 1.133 deaths and 2.500 injuries who were working in terrible conditions for famous international fashion brands.

This year's appointment includes the online course “Who made my clothes? What's in my clothes? ", which is celebrated every Wednesday in time 16 to 17: 30 hours until the next May 26 2021. As stated Nadège Seguin: “We believe in the need to carry out a radical change in our relationships with each other, with our clothing, within fashion supply chains and with the natural world, so that the rights of people and the rights of nature are more important ”.
