The Ibiza Town Council celebrates the International Day Against Climate Change, which is October 24 around the world, organizing various online talks on energy transition and the use of renewable energies.
The activities start the Tuesday 20 October 2020 with a videoconference by Joan Tur, industrial engineer from Solsulet, graduated "How to install solar panels and charging points in my community building". Tur will explain the necessary procedures, expenses and benefits of solar energy, as well as how to install charging points for electric vehicles in private parking lots.
El Wednesday, October 21, 2020, Juanjo Riera, environmental educator of Amics de la Terra, gives the talk "Towards an energy transition, changes and savings that you can make at home", with ideas to change our consumption habits.
El Thursday 22 October 2020 the last talk is given, "Energy savings and renewable energy in industrial buildings, hotels and large car parks", by David Berlanga, industrial engineer from Indaba Ibiza.
