The City of San Antonio maintains suspension of activity and prevents opening Privilege Ibiza for not having rectified the deficiencies of capacity and security
The City of San Antonio has issued a statement to 19 on Friday of April of 2019 announcing that maintains the suspension of activity to the club Privilege Ibiza, what will prevent opening for now At the moment it is therefore unknown what will happen with the opening, not yet announced, of the discotheque.
The City Council has denied the lifting of the precautionary measure of suspension of activity that issued last fall, considering that the technical report provided by Baltanxa SA, the company that owns Privilege, does not correct the deficiencies detected. That is, he considers that Privilege has not yet fixed the serious security deficiencies detected in the inspection.
As we told you at the time, after an inspection carried out in September of 2018 the municipal technicians detected a considerable and unauthorized increase in capacity, hindrance of almost all emergency exits, as well as some very important modifications in the project with which the activity license was obtained at the time.
Faced with this precautionary measure of suspension, Baltanxa SA filed a contentious administrative appeal that has been dismissed by the courts of Palma de Mallorca. Then, the club presented a letter to the City Council claiming to have corrected the deficiencies detected and requesting the lifting of the suspension. The technicians have informed that these deficiencies had not been fixed and that the document is not accompanied by any project, plans, memory or any technical certificate, so the survey has been denied.
With the season already around the corner, we are assailed by the doubt: can we dance again at Privilege Ibiza this summer?
