The latest promotional video from the Balearic Tourism Agency simulates one of the most mythical scenes from 'Blade Runner', the famous Ridley Scott film
La Balearic Islands Tourism Agency has decided to do a nod to the legendary 'Blade Runner' in their latest promo video. In the short, a man appears in the rain who claims to have seen "things that you would not believe", as the replicant does in the final speech of the 1982 film.
In the video begin to appear images of the islands between which are the islets of Es Vedrà and es Vedranell in Ibiza, the lighthouse of Cap de Barbaria de Formentera or Caves of the Drac of Mallorca, among others.
"Balearic Islands, better in winter" (Balearic Islands, better in winter), concludes the mysterious man.
It is a campaign that aims to to promote tourism in the Balearic Islands off-season and show, therefore, that the islands have much more to offer apart from the famous "sun and sand".
"I have seen rocks emerging from the sea like mountains," says the protagonist while the image of Es Vedrà appears in Ibiza. "I have seen magical creatures galloping next to me," he explains as a beautiful horse is seen galloping. "All those moments will remain forever in my memory," he assures while seeing the Cap de Barbaria lighthouse in Formentera or the Lithica quarry in Menorca. A good way to take advantage of the pull that the famous Ridley Scott film is back on the bill with its latest remake.
