Archeology workshops at the Puig des Molins Museum
As every summer, the Museum of Puig des Molins organizes interesting archeology workshops for children and young people between 5 and 18 years
La Association of Friends of the Archaeological Museum of Ibiza and Formentera (MAEF) returns to organize one of its most popular activities: Archeology workshops for children and young people that they carry out every summer.
It is a complete activity that will entertain the children during the holidays, who will have a great time while learning a lot.
Among the activities that they will carry out in the workshops are:
-Dummy excavation of the necropolis
-Visits to the site and the Monographic Museum of Puig des Molins, the Renaissance walls, the center of Madina Yabisa and the Curia
-Documentation and analysis of archaeological remains
-Introduction to archaeological drawing
Experimental archeology: production of bread, textiles, ceramics and food
-Fusion of metals, mosaics, jewelry making and amulets
-Games, clothing and makeup in antiquity
-Management of masks and theatrical performances
- Historical cinema
-Egyptian and Phoenician Punic Writing
The workshops are held throughout the summer since 24 from June to the 6 from September of 2019. Each workshop is celebrated Monday to Friday in time 9 to 13 hours. There are different groups depending on three age groups, from 5 to 7 years, from 8 to 12 years and from 13 to 18 years. Check the program below to see which one is of interest to you.
The price of each workshop is 65 euros for partners and 75 euros for non-members. Also, if you need it, you can pay an hourly supplement of 15 euros if you need to take them to the 8 hours or pick them up at 14 hours.
You can sign up in the Museum of Puig des Molins (Via Romana 31, Ibiza) of Tuesday through Friday and from 10 to 14 hours.
