Every Friday of the 2019 summer of the 7 from June to the 27 of September 2019 you can enjoy shows of peasant dancing in the Port of Ibiza
Like every summer, you can enjoy exhibitions of Baile Payés free in the Puerto de Ibiza.
A sample of the culture and tradition of the island in which you will be able to appreciate this kind of typically Ibizan dance as well as the instruments and music of the island.
These exhibitions have been done for almost 20 years. Before they were made in the Baluarte de Sant Pere in Dalt Vila, but from 2017 they moved to the Es Martell Square, in the Port, in front of the Avenida de los Andenes.
Throughout the summer you can see the dances that the Collas de Sa Bodega and of Vila, that will make a previous tour from the statue of the Fisherman until the Plaza de Es Martell, playing castanets, flutes and drums until you reach the point where the dances will begin. As well they will explain to viewers the Origin and types of traditional instruments and clothing.
The show starts at sunset, about the 21:30 hours and have one approximate duration of 1 hour.
The appointment is each Friday. 2019 from the summer June 7 until September 27 of 2019.
