Like every summer, Ibiza celebrates the Earth Parties, a very popular appointment among residents and visitors that arrives loaded with interesting activities. This year it will feature the Terra i Music Festival, with the presence of local groups, varied family and sports activities and proposals designed to know better the heritage of Ibiza.
As in the last edition, the Fiestas de la Tierra have this summer also a strong local component, With the music and culture as protagonists. It is also tried to carry the activities to the neighborhoods, so that everyone can enjoy them up close.
You must take into account that, due to the health situation, there are still limited capacity and the security measures, such as the use of masks.
The Fiestas de la Tierra start the Sunday August 1 2021, with Handicraft Fair in Vara de Rey from 18:XNUMX p.m. and a ballada with Sa Colla de Sa Bodega at 19 pm. The official opening is at 21:30 p.m., with a peasant dance with the Cola de Vila.
Terra i Music Festival
On August 1, the Terra i Música Festival also starts with concert by Joan Morenu and a colla by gent bona at 22:30 p.m. in the Parque de Reina Sofía.

On August 5 at 21:XNUMX p.m. in the Sant Pere Bastion another traditional event of the Fiestas de la Tierra takes place, the delivery of the Gold Medals of the City of Ibiza, which this year will be for the architect Elias torres, the sports teacher Julia Cano and the diplomat Jose Luis Roselló.
On August 7 and 8 you can visit the collective exhibition “Treballadores. Ants ", a hundred iron ants painted by hand by Balearic artists. You can also visit the photo exhibition "Traditional festivals: tradition and legacy".
