Like every winter, the Artisan Association of Portmany, in San Antonio, proposes to take advantage of these months to deepen the popular culture of the island through the craft courses what it organizes.
You can learn different traditional arts such as bobbins, macrame, work esparto ... The workshops are held between Thursday 1 November 2018 and Friday 26 April 2019, always on schedule 17 to 19: 30 hours.
Cada Monday from 5 November 2018 you have classes bobbin point, Tuesday from the 6 November 2018 You can learn how to make Cistellons (typical Ibizan baskets). The November 2 Friday of 2018 starts the workshop raw esparto and to learn how to elaborate country clothes. The Thursday from 8 November 2018 There are workshops espardenyes (typical Ibizan footwear) and classes of macrame.
In addition, from January 2019 there are short workshops to learn riding size (a technique for carving reliefs in wood), xeremies (traditional Ibizan instruments), tasty bunyols or donuts, one of the most popular desserts and string of chairs.
