This 2023, as is its custom, the Ibiza City Council organizes a complete program of activities for the 25-N, International Day for the Elimination of violence against women, to raise awareness about sexist violence and eliminate it.
The program is developed between November 21 and 30, 2023. This year's mottos are #Nolesoblidarem (#We will notforget) and 'Together and diverse we are stronger against sexist violence'.
The first proposal is Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 19 p.m. with the screening of the documentary “I do believe you“, with a subsequent debate with the participation of its scriptwriter Núria Vila and the protagonist of this documentary that delves into the revictimization that rape victims unfortunately suffer when they report. Admission is free. You can attend with children who can be left in the playroomFor this, registration is required.
El Thursday 23 November 2023 of 18 to 20 hours MdM organize an interesting debate. You can also use the playroom to leave the children, where they will do workshops promotion of equality and coeducation.
El November 24 Friday 2023 at 18 p.m. the storyteller “Consent”, Rachel Brian, so that girls and boys learn to set limits regarding their own bodies. Then there is a workshop for families with children from 3 to 12 years old. At 19:30 p.m. the National Police gives the talk 'Gender violence: how to address it from prevention and action', by the sub-inspector Jimena Lopez and the police Laura Garcia.
El Saturday 25 2023 November Various activities are held in the Peace Park, in coordination with the #8M commission of Ibiza. From 10 a.m. to 14 p.m. there is a information table from the AGRESTOP app of the Ibiza City Council. From 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. the “Living without fear” workshop with Eva Vázquez. From 12 to 14 p.m. the concentration for 25-N with reading of manifest.
El Wednesday, November 29, 2023 At 19 p.m. the Casal de Igualdad hosts the work of theater “Woe is me if I don't sing!”, created by Ana Sofía Robles and Reyes Josué Morales, with a subsequent discussion.
Finally, the Thursday 30 November 2023 at 19:30 p.m. the Feminist Reading Club with the book “Do not manipulate feminism. A defense against sexist fables”, by Ana Bernal Triviño.
