A project made from the heart
Lluna Plena Charter is born in 2015, when a couple of residents, Manu García, merchant sailor and director of a navigation academy with sports degrees in San Antonio, and his wife Doralice Souza, painter and singer, bought a beautiful classic Balearic sailboat from 1930 built in wood and in a deplorable state of conservation.
Both managed then Luxury Ibiza Yachts, a small boat company and decided to bet strongly to change their business line, stop time and Enjoy the island little by little, sailing from cove to cove aboard a unique boat.
So, they embarked on the titanic task of restoring the sailboat, for which they had the direction and execution of a team of "Mestres d'aixa", the traditional carpenters of the Ibizan vessels, a beautiful trade today practically in extinction. The restoration works were very hard and complex, lasting for 3 years and having to renew more than 50% of the ship's wood.
Even so, thanks to this team of experts and the will and romanticism of Manu and Doralice, today the Lluna Plena Charter sails along the west coast of Ibiza, departing from the Port of San Antonio, showing its clients the Ibiza more authentic, less known and more beautiful, and spreading the love and respect for its enormous natural and cultural treasures.
