XXIII Ibiza Mare Nostrum Folk Festival
The Ibiza Mare Nostrum Folk Festival of traditional dance celebrates its 23ª edition on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 on September 2019 in various locations
As every year, it arrives Ibiza Mare Nostrum Folk Festival, One of the great events of traditional culture. The Festival is organized by the Federation of Dance and Popular Culture Collages of Ibiza and Formentera with the collaboration of the Insular Council of Ibiza and the five town councils of the island.
La Edition 23 Is celebrated the Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2019, with traditional dance exhibitions in different locations on the island.
Saturday 21 2019 September
Starting at 19: 30 hours el San Mateo Social Center (or in case of bad weather the Municipal Pavilion Quartó de Portmany) host the actions of:
-Coros and dances of Zarandona (Murcia)
- Hai de Roelo Folk Group, from Cuntis (Pontevedra)
-Music rooms of Aliste and Tras os Montes (Zamora)
-Txori Zuri Euskal Dantza Taldea (Navarra)
-Sa Colla de Can Bonet (Ibiza)
Sunday 22 of September of 2019
There will be various folk performances and "ballades" at different times:
–12 hours in the Square of the Church of San José, performance of the folk group Coros y Danzas de Zarandona (Murcia) with the Folk Group of Sant Josep de sa Talaia.
–12 hours in the Town Hall Square of Santa Eulalia, performance of the Folkloric Group Hai de Roelo, of Cuntis (Pontevedra) with the Group of Ball Pagès Es Broll.
–12: 30 hours in the San Juan Church Square, performance by Txori Zuri Euskal Dantza Taldea (Navarra) with Sa Colla de Sant Rafel.
–19 hours at Reina Sofia Park of Ibiza, performance by Aliste and Tras os Montes (Zamora) music classrooms with Sa Colla de Vila.
