The Ibiza Town Hall and the Madina Yabisa Interpretation Center once again organize the themed itineraries 'A walk through the history of the city'.
With them, they intend to publicize the cultural and heritage values of Dalt Vila and its surroundings.
The itineraries, which will be carried out in the mornings in small groups, they are free and each month they will have a different theme and route. If you want sign up you must do it at the Madina Yabisa Interpretation Center.
-February 19 'The city in antiquity'. Visit to the archaeological remains preserved in Dalt Vila, explanation of the San Mariano street site, visit to the remains of the Phoenician-Punic city of MACE and other remains at the foot of the wall.
-5 and 20 March 'The coats of arms of Dalt Vila'. Walk through the history of architecture and the civil, military and religious heraldry of Dalt Vila's buildings.
-April 10 and 30 'XNUMXth century, the look of the archduke. Images of the city'. Itinerary to recognize the landscapes and the city of the time through the descriptions and drawings made by Archduke Lluís Salvador d'Àustria.
-May 7 and 22 'The medieval city'. Tour of Dalt Vila to identify the preserved sections of the medieval walls and the intramural streets from the Al-Andalus period.
-4 and 19 June 'The port, sa Penya and the Marina'. Route to observe the port neighborhoods and their urban evolution. In addition, the Broner house will be visited.
