Has the dry stone wall technique? In that case, you cannot miss the day 'A paisatge de pedra', organized by the Department of Culture, Education and Heritage of the Consell Insular de Ibiza.
The event is part of the events that COL·LABORAXPAISATGE has programmed on the occasion of the Second Edition of Dry Stone Week. With them the third anniversary of the declaration of this technique as Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO is commemorated.
The sessions are divided into two blocks: 'Stones and walls' and 'Who lives in the walls?'.
Vicent Marí Serra 'Palermet' will give the first talk. Through it, he will introduce the participants to the history and procedures of these walls in Ibiza.
For its part, Jordi Serapio He will be in charge of explaining the biodiversity that these spaces so typical of the islands promote.
The appointment will take place next November 28, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 13 p.m. in Ses Païsses de Cala d'Hort.
To participate, you must sign up sending name, surname, address and contact telephone number to mail arxiuimatgeiso@gmail.com. A maximum of two people per request and it will have to be done from November 15 to 22, both included. The places will be assigned in order of entry of the requests.
Un bus will transfer registrants to ses Païsses de Cala d'Hort. It will depart one hour before the start of the Ibiza Island Council workshop and will return to the same point when the activity ends.
