As every year, the second weekend of May is an already classic event, the Medieval Ibiza Fair, which takes as its setting the oldest and most beautiful areas of Ibiza town, the neighborhoods of The Marina and Dalt Vila.
Thousands of residents and tourists will once again enjoy the Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 May 2018 of four days of varied activities and cultural and leisure activities, including concerts, exhibitions, acrobatics, theater, puppets and shows varied with more from 20 companies different.
Throughout the historic nucleus will be installed 150 stops, 60 of them from residents of the island, with handicrafts, Ibizan products, gastronomy and where you can see various craft workshops tradicionales where you can check how wood is worked, esparto, mosaic, leather or iron, among others. Again this year, all the cultural or museum spaces of Dalt Vila will be open these days so you can take the opportunity to visit them.
One of the attractions of the appointment are the performances of itinerant animation in charge of 16 groups that will entertain you with music, acrobatics, dances and characters. Also, every day in the Reina Sofía Park tournaments will be held just with Drakonia to the 11: 30 and the 18: 30 hours.
This year there will be more activities designed for children, which will be centralized in the Baluarte de Sant Pere, Plaza de Sa Tarongeta and Plaza del Parque. In addition, in the area of the Cathedral there will be the medieval games of Dracs d'Eivissa.
Again they will offer themselves again three free bus lines from the dissuasive car parks on the outskirts of Ibiza to the Paseo de Vara de Rey and Es Soto so that you do not have problems to travel to this great festival through history.
