The San José City Council launches a proposal for an activity called to succeed among the youth of the municipality. It's about the hip hop and rap workshops "Rapping for equality", which are organized through the Department of Equality.
These are workshops designed to young people from 12 years, and will be in charge of the Ibizan rapper Adrià Rubio, alias Sr.À.
The workshops have a duration of 4 weeks and are held in the Casal Xerinola de Sant Jordi and in the Bauxa House in Cala de Bou.
-Casal Xerinola de Sant Jordi: Sessions every Wednesday at 17:XNUMX p.m., starting October 14, 2020.
-Bauxa House in Cala de Bou: Sessions every Thursday at 17 p.m., starting October 15, 2020.
In the workshops it is intended that young people attend the process of creating a rap song until they see it recorded on video, while at the same time promoting values such as gender equality, respect for cultural and sexual diversity, tolerance and coexistence in community.
Adrià Rubio began his musical career in Ibiza in 2012 and is now returning to the island after a very active stage in the rap scene in Barcelona and after publishing his first album last year "Thread by point".
The workshops are held following security measures and capacity is limited to 10 people per workshop.
