The Ibiza Town Council through its Department of Equality, organizes a new edition of "Short and Role Change" together with the Ibizan association The Xiringuito Teatre.
The idea is raise awareness and fight against male violence among young people, and the key is that they do it using as tools the interpretation and Audiovisual language.
Thus, throughout the project, young people must debate and reflect on gender roles and stereotypes, sexuality and the different forms of sexist violence. Participants are trained to develop all the phases of making a short film, from the writing of the story to its interpretation, recording and final editing.
It is a free activity designed for boys and girls between 14 and 18 years, which is done every Tuesday from 17 to 19 p.m. from January 19 to March 2021. Due to the pandemic, first sessions will be online. Later it will be held at its usual location, in the C19, in calle Castilla 19 in Ibiza town.
