The artist Jesús de Miguel presents an exhibition at the restaurant Sushipoint Ibiza, his works can be seen from 26 from May to 22 in June
One of the most charismatic artists on the island, the Palencia Jesus of Miguel, presents a new exhibition curated by the art historian Laura Tami and that has the collaboration of Ibiza Art Guide, subtitled "From informalism to the aesthetics of the gesture" in the sophisticated restaurant Sushipoint Ibiza, by Marina Botafoch.
Jesus of Miguel It is one of the great exponents of informalism emerged in the 50s and 60s, a current for which matter is memory, full existence, a direct fragment of reality. Cataloged within the art brut, his paintings do not express or communicate, but they are wild and pure existence. Jesús De Miguel imagines a strange universe that is alien to reality, he does not create primordial inner worlds, hence the great emotionality of color in his paintings, as a direct means of communication with the spectator. Their strong and determined strokes respond directly to the intuition, to an aesthetic notion that is not sieved by reason, hence his works are full of expressiveness, vitality, luminosity and joy. An artist that will make you feel overflowing emotions through original and own semantics in which spectator is co-creator of the work.
A work full of strength that opens with a preview el Thursday May 26 from the 21 hours and that can be visited every day from 20 hours until Wednesday 22 in June.
