El Ibiza Town Hall organizes the XXVI Classical Thought and Culture Course.
Under the title 'Relive and rethink the classical world' two will be offered conferences in the small room of Can Ventosa.
The first, 'Sad Cleopatra, queen of gold and purple', will take place on friday January 14, 2022 at 19 p.m. In it, the Greek teacher at IES Manacor and teacher-tutor at UNED Antònia Soler Nicolau will offer a talk on the popular Egyptian queen.
The second, 'Roman women before the law: between the norm and reality', It will deal with the norms generated from certain social convictions that subjected the Roman ones. This time it will be Alicia Valmaña Ochaíta, professor of Roman law at the University of Castilla la Mancha, who will lead the conference on February 4 at 19 p.m.
