The AV des Molí Theater Group represents the play “Dianxes, quina histori” on Thursday, January 17, 2019, the Great Day of the San Antonio Festivities
The City of San Antonio invites you to enjoy the premiere of the play of costumbrista theater “Dianxes, quina histori” of the Theater Group of the Neighborhood Association des Molí.
The appointment is Thursday 17 of January of 2019, Big day of the Festivities of San Antonio, at 18:30 hours in the Municipal carp located in the central Paseo de Ses Fonts.
A costumbrista comedy directed by Vicent Serra that takes place in the Ibiza of the 40 years before the tourist boom. The work bases its story on three plot threads: a teenage girl who runs away from home to get married, an uncle who reappears after having fought in the Blue Division and a family farm with economic problems after an accident of the mother.
The event will also feature several special guests: Toni Ribas “Figueretes”, who will read a poem, the singer and baller Vicent de Can Frit, and the singer-songwriter Joan “Murenu”, which will offer a performance.
As a curiosity, comment that the Ibizan word “Dianxes”, now out of use, was similar to the Castilian “Diantres”, an expression of surprise.
The play has free entrance.
