The always nice hotel Ibiza amphora, located in the Es Canar area, presents another of its interesting exhibitions, this time dedicated to the Ibizan artist Patricia Boned.
Trained at the Escola Massana in Barcelona and also studying stained glass for two years at the Associació Catalana de les Arts del Vidre, Patricia Boned shows us her beautiful paintings of imperfect women, with a frown (sinofris) or with sagging breasts, happy, tired, dreamy or poetically related to the island through long hair combed in the shape of prickly pears.
They are portraits that move away from idealizations and that they represent through intense colours, an aspect in which Vicent Calbet, one of his teachers, may have influenced, and with dominance of line versus color, something also very defining of his works.
The exhibition opens with a preview el Sunday 10 of July of 2022 at 19 hours, coinciding with one of the days of celebration of the Festivities of Es Canar.
