Falstaff, by Giuseppe Verdi, at the XI Ibiza Opera Festival
The last Festival of Opera of Ibiza brings you "Falstaff", of Giuseppe Verdi, to the Palace of Congresses the days 11, 13, 15 and 17 of September of 2017
El Ibiza Opera Festival its eleventh edition and which is also apparently the last one in the Palace of Congresses of Ibiza in Santa Eulalia the Monday 11, Wednesday 13, Friday 15 and Sunday 17 of September of 2017.
Four functions to dismiss this great event organized by Armin Heinemann in which, after being able to enjoy past editions of works such as "Rigoletto", "La Traviata", "Tosca", "Don Giovanni" or "La Flauta Mágica", they propose to enjoy with "Falstaff", The opera created by Giuseppe Verdi about a fallen noble who tries to seduce two married women to appropriate their fortunes and that is based on the works of Shakespeare "The Merry Wives of Windsor" and "Henry IV".
Among the interpreters will be the internationally renowned baritone Christopher Robertson as Falstaff, and other great interpreters like Joan Sebastià Colomer, Maite Alberola, Albert Casals, Jordi Casanova, Vicenç Esteve, Marc Pujol, Isabel Rodríguez, Laura Vila or Mariel Aguilar.
The musical direction is in charge of Daniel Gil de Tejada, that will take the baton before the Orchestra and Choir Friends of the Opera of Ibiza, while the direction of scene is in the hands of the experienced Armin Heinemann.
