El Moon Poetry Festival Juny Celebrates his Edition 31 counting, as usual, on the presence of great national and international poets, and also incorporating new voices, artistic expressions and disciplines such as talks, painting, music or dance.
The contest, directed by the well-known cultural promoter Carles Fabregat, is celebrated from Thursday, September 28 to Sunday, October 1, 2023, this year pays tribute to the figure of Isidor Macabich. Among the most notable guest poets are the Italian Mariangela Gualtieri or the Portuguese Luis Castro Mendes.
The festival kicks off Thursday 28 of September 2023 at 20 hours in the Sa Nostra Room of Ibiza city with an interesting dialogue between the philosopher and poet Santiago Beruete and the garden designer Andrea Sanchez, who will maintain a conversation about the relationship between nature, gardens and poetry, under the title “The garden, a visual poem".
El Friday 29 September 2023 at 21 hours a planned concert in the Cloister of the Ibiza Town Hall of the young Mallorcan singer Júlia Colom who, accompanied by two musicians, will offer traditional Mallorcan songs and others of her own.
El Saturday 30 of September 2023 at 12 hours la Church of Sant Jordi welcomes the tribute to one of the most important figures of Pitiusa culture: Isidor Macabich, with a recital in which they participate Fanny Tur, the singer Joan Murenu, the actress Àngels Escandell and Grup Folklòric Sant Jordi de ses Salines.
That night, at 21 hours, in the Cloister of the Ibiza Town Hall the Night of Poetry, central event of the Lluna de Juny Poetry Festival, with the poets Mariangela Gualtieri, Luis Castro Mendes, Llucia Palliser, Miquel Àngel Adrover, Jèssica Ferrer, Julio Herranz and Nora Albert, who will recite various compositions, accompanied on the cello by the musician Miquel Angel Aguilo.
The contest closes Sunday 1 2023 October at 12 hours and with a performance pictorial-musical in the Ebusus Cultural Society from Ibiza city, by the painter Jesus of Miguel and the calligrapher Maria Vila, accompanied by the musician Santi Pérez.
