El Ibicine FestivalDirected by Helher Escribano, is warming up engines for its Edition 6, provided for in April 2023, which will bring many new features and a more extensive and prolonged program over time, just like before the pandemic.
Thus, during the months prior to the Astarte Awards ceremony, we will be able to enjoy up to 13 high-quality short film screenings.
The first of these screenings, the opening session of Ibicine, is the November 2 Wednesday of 2022 en Can Ventosa, with a careful selection of horror and comedy short films from the 5 previous editions, in addition to the short films 'La noria', by Carlos Baena and 'Cerdita', by Carlota Pereda, both winners of Goya Award.
The rest will be the sessions of the short films that participate in the 6th edition of Ibicine, which will be screened between December 2022 and March 2023. In each of them, a ticket will be raffled for the Astarte Awards gala.
In all screenings there will be a discussion at the end of the shorts with filmmakers and film experts.
In the inaugural session they participate in the subsequent colloquium Andreu Fullana, from Ibiza Film Commission, Barbara Hermosilla, from the Ibiza Film School, Ana Olivia Fiol, from APAI, Nuria Santos, from the Playcine Association, Héctor Escandell, film director, Laura Ferrer Arambarri, journalist, and Helher Notary, film director and creator of Ibicine.
