Ibiza Light Festival celebrates its second edition on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 2017 October from the 20 hours with up 17 artistic installations distributed in the neighborhoods of Marina, the Port of Ibiza and Dalt Vila.
The facilities that you can enjoy in the historic center of Ibiza Town are created by local artists and also from countries like Switzerland, United Kingdom, France or Italy, among others. In addition, this year the festival incorporates a social side with its collaboration with the voluntary association Magna Pytiusa, who will participate in the lighting of candles in the street of the Virgin (or de la Mare de Deu).
In addition, a photography contest through Instagram with the hashtag #concursoibizalightfestival. If you make the best picture you will win a picture of the artist Nika valued at 1.300 euros, in addition, among the participants will be drawn light belts. Do you dare to compete?
Amongst the installations, where light is clearly the main protagonist, whether through candles or laser video projectors or videos, stands out the spectacular video mapping which will be projected every 30 minutes on the walls of Ibiza from the Portal de ses Taules and tell you the history of the construction of the walls.
