Sa Nostra Room, the culture room of the Consell de Ibiza, hosts “Inter Estials“, a new exhibition dedicated to the Andorran artist based in Formentera Laura Maresc.
This is a sample sculptural composed assemblies and installations created with organic and inorganic materials seeking, in Maresc's own words, "the balance in discord".
The works are made with a technique firmly rooted within the artistic current of the 'object found', something that adds even more meanings to the idea that emerges from the concept of limits, borders, skin, contours...
Laura Maresc, who lives between Barcelona where she studied at the Escola de la Massana, her native Andorra and Formentera, which she states is "a source of returned materials, of 'objetcts trouvés'", has exhibited her work in exhibitions individual and collective.
“Inter Esticials” opens on 9 June 2022 Thursday at 20 hours and will feature live music, with a soundscape by Manuel Bergallo.
The exhibition will be open until next July 1, 2022, with hours of 10 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. and from 17:30 p.m. to 20:30 p.m.. Free entrance.
