Amphora Ibiza, the beautiful establishment located in the Es Canar area, hosts its first exhibition of this 2022 season, dedicated to the painter and poet Josefina Torres (Ibiza, 1969).
A versatile artist whose paintings usually start from the lyrical abstraction to “recreate spaces that between rupture and balance generate a swing of conflicting emotions where use and intensity of color They have an essential influence.
Graduated in Visual Arts, Communication and Graphic Design, Josefina Torres uses for her works various materials and techniques, using in many of his works collages and torn, wrinkled or torn paper and cardboard, which have become a hallmark of his works throughout his entire artistic career.
The painter has exhibited on multiple occasions on the island, and has also starred in shows in Mallorca or Denia, and recently won the second prize in the IbizArtguide contest.
The exhibition at the Ánfora Ibiza hotel opens on 29 April 2022 Friday and with a preview which will take place at 18 hours.
