The Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza presents the second edition of MACE Focus, an exhibition of the 4 from April to the 19 of May 2019
El Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza (MACE) located in Dalt Vila presents the second edition of the MACE Focus.
It is an exhibition that, just like the one that was done last year, aims to show the public the annual acquisitions from the museum. The novelty is that for the first time in this edition they are shown along with some of the archaeological materials found during the works of extension of the museum between 2007 and 2011.
In the sample MACE Focus II you will also find works of José Carlos Bonet Vallribera, Erwin Broner, Will Faber, Susy Gómez, Hans Hinterreiter, Rainer Pfür, Rom Ero, Josep Vallribera, Edmund de Waal and Jean Willi.
The idea is to publicize the museological project by divulging the growth of its collections and, in addition, on this occasion also put in value the archaeological site, which is still being studied.
If you go, in addition to visiting the exhibition in the Weapons Room of the Museum you can also go to see the underground plant where the deposit is and the Sala de Vueltas, where De Waal's work is located.
The exhibition opens on Thursday 4 of April of 2019 at 20 hours and you can visit until May 19th 2019 de Tuesday to Sunday from 10 to 14 hours and From Tuesday to Friday also in the afternoon of 17 a 20 Hora.
