Can Ventosa hosts on Saturday January 12, 2019 the play "Spy on a woman who kills herself", by Daniel Veronese, inspired by "Uncle Vania" by Chekhov
The auditorium of the Cultural Center of Can Ventosa in Ibiza city welcomes the work “Spy on a woman who kills herself”, with text and address Daniel Veronese, who covers the classic text of Anton Chekhov “Uncle Vanya”.
This unique representation of the work on the island is the Saturday 12 of January of 2019 at 21 hours.
The assembly comes from the hand of Contemporary Theatrical Productions and it counts in the cast with the actors Jordi Bosch, Pedro Garcia de les Heras, Ginés García Millán, Malena Gutiérrez, Marina Salas, Susi Sánchez and Natalia Verbeke.
The work tells us about the peaceful life in the country of Vania and his niece Sonia, who is disturbed by the presence of an old teacher and his young wife, who arouses the passion of Vania himself and Doctor Astrov, of whom Sonia is secretly in love
With a scenography defined by its simplicity and parsimony, the text addresses great universal issues such as love for nature or the search for truth through art.
