The exhibition hall Sa Nostra Room, in Ibiza city, presents the exhibition "Steinmeyer", starring the works of the German artist based in Ibiza Renato steinmeyer.
It is a careful selection of his latest works, characterized by a search for contrasts. Thus, some works contain constructivist and rational elements, while others show a greater emotional charge, with a predominance of spontaneous brushstrokes and graphics. Flat textures and blue tones are dominant, but earlier frames with warmer hues are also shown.
They are paintings that, in any case, seek to reflect the essential, eliminating any superfluous element. In their abstract and minimalist paintingsSteinmeyer incorporates elements that refer to the most authentic Ibiza, such as a noray, a pebble, or the wall of a traditional house.
The exhibition is divided into two parts, on the one hand the large room with works dominated by the color blue, and on the other the outside in red.
Renato steinmeyer He combines his work as a television camera with painting. Her first exhibition was in the Exhibition Hall of the Art School of Ibiza, and since then she has made many others in the Marta Torres Gallery, Sa Nostra, Garden Art Gallery or Can Jeroni, among other places. She has also participated in group exhibitions on and off the island.
The exhibition opens on 9 July 2020 Thursday at 20 hours.
At the same time that this new exhibition is inaugurated, Sa Nostra Sala also inaugurates its new summer schedule, from 10:30 a.m. to 13 p.m. and from 18 p.m. to 21 p.m. You can visit the sample Monday to Friday.
