The mythical Ballet of Moscow will represent the classic The Nutcracker of Tchaikovsky the 2 of January in the Palace of Congresses of Santa Eulalia, Ibiza.
There is no New Year to be celebrated without sounding the melodies of great works for Ballet by the Russian composer Piotr Tchaikovsky. And if there is one that shines on the others, that is The Nutcracker, a classic of the Christmas that returns to Ibiza in the newly opened 2016. And is that the day January 2 at 19:30 p.m., still with the echoes of the New Year's Eve party echoing in our memory, the dancers of one of the most prestigious companies in the world, the Moscow Ballet will once again seduce the island's public at one of its stops on its Spanish winter tour, which takes them to around twenty cities across the country.
The original choreography is carried out by Marius Petipa and the play tells the story of Clara and the Nutcracker, who are immersed in a fantasy tale full of adventures and fantastic characters.
The Moscow Ballet is one of the most prestigious companies in the world with more than 25 years of history. It was founded in 1989 by the Russian choreographer and dancer Timur Fayziev and some of the most prominent dancers and choreographers of Russian ballets such as the Bolshoi or the Stanislavsky are part of it. Tickets, at 38 euros the general, 20 euros for groups of more than 12 people, can be purchased at the Vara de Rey Bookstore, in Vila, and at Holidays de Santa Eulalia.
