Café Montesol Ibiza hosts the Gastronomic Days of Txuleton de Sagardi, try exceptional pieces of premium meat
The emblematic Cafe Montesol Ibiza located in Vara de Rey was the setting chosen by Sagardi Group for the presentation of Gastronomic Days of the Txuleton in Sagardi, which this year celebrates its 14ª edition.
The presentation was held last Friday, November 22 from 2019 to 13: 30 hours and was attended by the Basque chef Iñaki López de Viñaspre, president of the Sagardi Group, and the renowned butcher and meat expert Imanol Jaca.
Those attending the event were able to taste some supreme quality txuletones, from animals fed in a completely natural way, to obtain pieces of marbled and interspersed meat covered with natural fat and spices with aromas of fresh grass and wheat, with a flavor that refers to those meats that were served once in spits hidden in the Basque mountains.
The pieces, expressly selected by the expert butcher Imanol Jaca de Txogitxu, will be served with Seasonal entrees like fresh piquillo peppers roasted on charcoal oak grill and peeled by hand, new bean from Tolosa or the exclusive Aralar mountain cheese from raw sheep's milk.
