The prestigious chef from Ibiza José Miguel Bonet, chef of the restaurant Es Ventall, one of the most recognized on the island, stars "Origens"An exclusive gastronomic pop up that you can enjoy in the spectacular Upper terrace of the hotel Me Ibiza, of Santa Eulalia.
Bonet has developed his own creative concept under the name "Traditional cuisine of the XXI Century", reinterpreting typical specialties of the island with an avant-garde optic. An innovative gastronomic proposal that vindicates the most authentic flavors of Ibiza and that will be enlivened by the music of a whole legend of the electronic Dj Oliver.
“Origens” has two appointments this summer 2019, the Wednesday 10 of July of 2019 and Wednesday of 7 of August of 2019, starting at 20 hours.
El tasting menu proposes to start with some carob bread appetizers with extra virgin olive oil, a red fruit gazpacho, a Cigala Coke with Iberian air or a Ibicenca shrimp croquette and black garlic. The incoming is composed of a liquid seafood salad from the Mediterranean, creamy rice of monkfish and prawn from Ibiza with kimichi, black pork rib at low temperature, raspberry oshin and potato cream from your garden, a pre dessert of melon-caipirinha, and to finish, a floral essence.
The dishes are served in the pieces of crockery Exclusive of the designer and craftswoman Nuria Blanco. And all while enjoying the starry sky and unbeatable sea views 360º rooftop of the hotel.
The price is 59 euros per person (drinks not included).
In addition, you can also enjoy this irresistible culinary proposal in the form of caps. Among the delights that you can taste, there will be Ibicenca shrimp croquette with garlic mayonnaise, calamari sandwiches with black garlic sobrasada and ali-oli, carob flour coca with escalivada and tataki de sirvia with parsnips, ajoblanco with tomato tartar and aromatic herbs, black pork ribs with creamy Ibizan potato and raspberry oshin, graixonera foam with almond crumble and Ibizan herbs toffe.
