Monika Teruelo is an artist in love with beauty, recently arrived in Ibiza to start a new and exciting stage in her career. His entire professional career has traveled the paths of art, design and illustration and, after obtaining various national and international mentions and awards, found in the artistic photography and body painting the perfect way to express your particular artistic vision.
He tells us that he conceives his work as an experience between artist and model, an intimate experience, where the canvas is the naked body and each stroke that he makes directs the model towards his own inner journey, a connection deep between body, mind and spirit, to be in harmony with his own being. Mónika reveals to us that, it is then, when the inner light of the model is shown and allows her to capture her forever in beautiful snapshots that reflect her own soul.
His latest artistic work is starring Sara García, the first European woman to complete the Paris-Dakar. With this project, Mónika Teruelo intends to grant a greater visibility to women who break the mold participating in minority and mainly male sports, highlighting the talent and capabilities of women and their struggle to obtain a truly egalitarian position in society.
The beautiful and powerful snapshots of Sara García make up an exhibition that Mónika will take in a itinerant by different premises and exhibition centers on the island. It will be an exhibition with solidarity purposes to help this group in their fight for real equality to continue developing the professional careers of women worthy of applause and admiration, and that serve as inspiration to many others.
Mónika Teruelo's great specialty is portrait photography. She is the creator of the world Pataditas Beauty Photo Ibiza, beautiful photographs to remember those little-big moments of happiness that make life wonderful. Here follows a very similar way of working, always looking for that special connection and revealing with delicacy and talent all that beauty and inner world that we all carry inside.
