Viewpoints in Ibiza

If you are looking for viewpoints in Ibiza, we recommend that you do not overlook the ones that we propose in this article. Views of the sea, the countryside, the city, from the cliffs ... You choose!

Despite its small size and not having areas that are too high, the island offers its visitors and residents some incredible views from countless points. That's how it is. To enjoy them, there are a good number of viewpoints in Ibiza that we are going to share with you so that you can show off photos.

Since some of those viewpoints in Ibiza you will be able to contemplate spectacular sunsets, the green of its vegetation, beautiful islets or amazing cliffs that die in the sea.

There are them for all tastes and physical states. While some will be reached through a highly recommended walk, others can be accessed directly by car.

There are viewpoints in Ibiza enabled for this purpose and others that, without being so, have become essential for those who want to take home a beautiful panoramic view.

In any case, here we leave you a list of our favorites, for you to choose yourself.

TOWER DES SAVINAR. CALA D'HORT. SAINT JOSEPH

Viewpoints in Ibiza Magazine Ibiza

If you've gotten up motivated and wanting to give it your all, put on comfortable shoes and head towards Cala d'Hort. After a pleasant walk through pine trees and junipers, you will arrive at the Torre des Savinar, known among the locals as the pirate's tower.

Get ready to fall asleep at the foot of this space because views of Es Vedrà await you from here. In fact, despite not having visited it yet, you may already know it. And it is one of the most shared photos of Ibiza.

VIEWPOINT REY JAUME I. IBIZA

In this viewpoint you will find the best views of Ibiza town. Located next to the Cathedral of Santa María, to get there you will have to take a beautiful walk through the walled city of Dalt Vila, an essential plan.

We have no doubt that you will love the tour, even more so when you reach the finish line (the cathedral square) and come across such views. The entire port of Ibiza in front of you, as well as part of the old town.

SAN VICENTE COVE. SAN JUAN

Among the innumerable curves that lead to Cala San Vicente, a little before arriving, you will see a viewpoint on the right side of the road. You should be careful when parking, but if you can, do not miss the opportunity. The different shades of the sea in this area blend with the green of the vegetation that surrounds this typically Mediterranean landscape.

CAP NEGRET. SAINT ANTONY

Viewpoints in Ibiza Magazine Ibiza

Precisely next to the famous Hostal La Torre there is a viewpoint that is quite popular with lovers of sunsets. The colors of the sunset over the sea vary according to the season, but they always present a spectacle worth witnessing.

CALA VADELLA. SAINT JOSEPH

Shortly before reaching this well-known cove, you will come across the Vadella cove viewpoint, on the right side of the road. Park your vehicle and take the opportunity to take what may be one of the most beautiful photos in your album. You will not see the entire cove from a bird's eye view, but you will see something similar.

SAN MIGUEL. SAN JUAN

In front of the church of San Miguel there is a small ledge with a statue that pays homage to the Ibizan poet Marià Villangómez. From this point you can contemplate the tiny town of Sant Miquel de Balanzat and the green mountains that surround it.

COVA DE CAN MARÇÀ, SAN MIGUEL. SAN JUAN

Also in the town of San Miguel you will find the Cova de Can Marçà, a cave with more than 100.000 years old that is worth visiting. Its terrace also offers impressive views of the port of San Miguel since it is located about 12/14 meters above sea level.

IT IS CANARET. SAN JUAN

Es-Canaret-Ibiza

Es Canaret is one of those coves that does not have easy access for everyone but that, once you know it, you know that you would repeat the walk a thousand times more. Just during the route that takes you to it, you will come across a small wooden bench where you can take a break to enjoy the sea in all its splendor.

IT'S CUBELLS. SAINT JOSEPH

This tiny town of San José sits on top of an impressive cliff. Right next to and behind its charming church you can take a picture of part of the coast of San José.

IT IS CODOLAR. SAINT JOSEPH

Between es Codolar beach and sa Caleta beach, at the height of ses Dones beach, you will find a small esplanade on the right side of the road where you can leave your car. From there or, if you prefer, opposite, you will have beautiful views of the entire es Codolar beach. Aircraft lovers will find a plus here since they can see how they take off and land at the airport, which is located right next to the cove.

PUIG DE MISSA. SAINT EULALIA

The Puig de Missa is not only the most recognizable silhouette of the municipality of Santa Eulalia, but it is also a perfect viewpoint. Before you, the people and the Mediterranean. Taking a walk around here is a pleasure and taking more than one and two photos something unavoidable.

You can access this area both by car and on foot. It is a ride suitable for everyone.

CLUB FESTIVAL. SAINT JOSEPH

Viewpoints in Ibiza Magazine Ibiza

Lovers of good views and graffiti will find this abandoned nightclub in San José one of their favorite places on the island. It is not a viewpoint, but it is worth contemplating the green that surrounds the town of San José from here.

Don't forget your camera or you will regret it! Its graffiti and half-demolished corners give a lot of play.

XARRACA COVE. SAN JUAN

On the road to Cala Xarraca, before going down to the beach, you will find a small viewpoint from which the turquoise waters of this part of the coast will dazzle you. Be careful when parking. In the middle of the season, large queues tend to form.

HEAVEN'S DOORS. HOLY INES. SAN ANTONIO

It is not a viewpoint as such, but it is one of the highest and quietest areas from which to lose yourself watching the horizon. The sea, the cliffs and the native vegetation will accompany you on the way.

SA TALAIA. SAINT JOSEPH

How could it be otherwise, one of the views that arouses the most amazement among people is the one that gives us the highest mountain in Ibiza: Sa Talaia. San Antonio and San José will be at your feet from its top. A 360 panoramic mode in which sea, mountains and urban centers blend seamlessly.

You can go up both by car and on foot. From the town of San José there is a route to the top that is neither too long nor excessively complicated.

SA CALETA OR IS BOL NOU. SAINT JOSEPH

Viewpoints in Ibiza Magazine Ibiza

This cove is a mine when it comes to finding the perfect Mediterranean panorama. Before going down to the beach itself, right in front of the restaurant, you can choose to go left or right. If you choose the first thing you will arrive at the pier area and, if you "investigate" a little more, you will discover the place where one of the most coveted photos on Instagram is taken: the one of the beach from a kind of passageway that is not more than a cut in the mountain.

If you take the opposite direction and go up through the mountain, you will access an extensive cliff from which you can see the entire extension of sa Caleta.
