El Eivissa Jazz Festival, one of the most important musical and cultural events of the year on the island, celebrates its Edition 34 with an extended program, which involves a new stage and an additional day compared to last year.
The long-awaited appointment on the island with the great jazz artists of the national and international scene is celebrated this year of Monday, August 29 to Saturday, September 3, 2022, and will include three days of free activities.

At 22:30 p.m. it is the turn of the Javier Navas Quintet, which presents its latest album “La Revolución”, with John Galiardo (piano), Henry Oliver (tenor sax), Dani Dominguez (Battery) and Bori Albero (double bass).
Pianist, singer and songwriter Lucia Fumero is in charge of opening the evening at the Baluarte on Friday September 2 at 21:XNUMX p.m., presenting his first album “Universo Normal”, with Magali Datzira (double bass) and David Xirgu (drums). At 22:30 p.m. the Galician pianist Abe Rábade repeats his ephemeral concert entitled Eivissa Jazz Experience, which this year he performs together with chris kase (trumpet), Andrew Garcia (double bass), Rale Micic (guitar) and Gonzalo del Val (drums), all musicians who have passed through the festival but have never played together.
The last evening of the Eivissa Jazz festival on Saturday September 3 in the Baluarte will be dedicated to European bands. At 21:30 p.m. the Hungarians Symbiosis 5, winners of the group contest at the Getxo Jazz festival, will perform, a group made up of Benedek Virag (guitar) Levente Kapolcsi-Szabo (piano), Maté Drippey (saxo), Gyanyi Tamas (double bass) and Roland Gabor Majsai (drums).
