The IMS International Music Summit Ibiza, international congress of the electronics industry, from 22 to 24 from May 2019 at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza
International Music Summit Ibiza (IMS), one of the most important congresses of the electronic music industry in the world, celebrates its Edition 12 repeating its usual headquarters in the imposing Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.
The congress itself is celebrated Wednesday 22 to Friday 24 of May of 2019, but all week, from the Monday 21 to Sunday 26 May 2019, there will be other networking events, yoga on a daily basis, a retreat for industry professionals, parties at the most important clubs on the island such as Amnesia, Cova Santa, Heart or Pacha Ibiza, a Boiler Room and many other surprises.
The island becomes these days a networking center of the electronics industry, with more than 1.200 delegates from around the world to exchange ideas, generate collaborations and projects and face the changes and challenges of the sector.
As usual, the party Grand Finale is celebrated on 24 May 2019 in a framework as exceptional as dalt vila. And for the first time, after this great event there will be a later party In the club Heart Ibiza. Both have a Line Up of pure luxury.
Some of the keys of the IMS 2019
The IMS 2019 revolves around the mental health crisis in the industry. Experts of all kinds will analyze how to safeguard the health of those who work in the industry.
Among the most important topics that will be covered in this edition is the 20º Anniversary of the party Cocoon, environmental issues and how to evolve to eliminate plastics, the presentation of new CEO of the Pacha Group, a new wave of innovators in the industry presented by Mixmag, how to integrate more and better music and fashion, Palestinian musical scene, scene in Eastern Europea masterclass with Jax Jones, gender diversity in the industry and many other topical issues related to the music industry. In total, 19 topics will be treated, that is, addressed 19 paneles. Of course, the Great Annual Debate, with important 20 industry voices, who will try "The world of clubbing in crisis".
Among the 118 speakers this year we find names as well known as those of Paco Osuna, Loco Dice or Pete Tong, co founder of the IMS. Fourteen of the most important names in the scene participate in the panel "Resident Advisor & IMS present… Is club culture on the right track?".
They will also be made musical interviews with Charlotte de Witte, Joseph Capriati, Klas Bergling and Zane Lowe.
El Legends Award is this year for Javier Anadón, businessman from Ibiza and creator and founder of Café Mambo, one of the most respected and famous music venues in Ibiza, which also celebrates its 25 Anniversary. Anadón joins a list of artists and businessmen recognized with the award Legends of the IMS as Nile Rodgers, Fatboy Slim, Pete Tong, Sven Väth, Carl Cox or Underworld, the founder of Space Ibiza, Pepe Roselló and the founder of Pacha, Ricardo Urgell.
La Legends Dinner in which Javier Anadón will receive the award, the Wednesday May 22 2019 at 20 hours at the rural hotel Casa Maca, and will feature the performances of Paco Fernández and Astrid Canales. El 22 May Day 2019 Besides the Legends Dinner at Casa Maca there are some sessions at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, in the afternoon at the pool and at 20 hours at the Rooftoop with Anja Schneider. There is also a party in Pikes from the 20 hours organized by the networking platform Shesaid.so, and also from the 24 hours another official party in Pacha Ibiza.
