The cultural center of Can Ventosa, in Ibiza city, hosts the celebration concert of Santa Cecilia, patron saint of musicians. On this occasion, the Ibiza City Choir and Symphonic Band Ibiza Town They will be the stars of the evening.
The Santa Cecilia concert will take place on November 18 Saturday of 2023 at 19 hours.
The concert is organized to benefit ADDIF (the Adapted Sports Association of Ibiza and Formentera), so the entries have a cost of 5 euros. They can be purchased at the ADDIF headquarters (in the Mercado Nuevo, premises no. 4, outside), at the Music Board (November 15 and 16 from 18:30 p.m. to 20:30 p.m.) and at the Can Ventosa box office from 1 hour before the concert.
The Cor Ciutat d'Eivissa will be the first to intervene under the direction of Miguel San Miguel. On the stage of Can Ventosa he will perform “Popular sentiment in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.”
For its part, the Symphonic Band, under the direction of Vicente Mendoza, presents a program composed of “Música i Poble”, a pasodoble by Ferrer Ferran, and “Cançons de Mare”, a concert work by Rafael Talens.
