The Ciutat d'Eivissa Choir invites you to enjoy Verdi's Requiem on 7 Sunday April 2019 at the Ibiza Cathedral in a free concert
El Choir Ciutat d'Eivissa Celebrates his 25 Anniversary organizing, among others, a beautiful concert of Verdi's Requiem next to Capella Mallorquina and the Classical Orchestra of Mallorca.
The concert, organized by the Town Council of Ibiza and the Consell de Ibiza, celebrates the Sunday 7 2019 April in the Cathedral of Ibiza in two sessions, to the 12:30 hours or 18 hours.
The choral formations will be accompanied by soloists of the first international level, such as the soprano Carmen Solís, the mezzo-soprano Maria Luisa Corbachothe tenor Gustavo Peña and the baritone Armando Piña.
The Ciutat d'Eivissa Choir, recently awarded the Ramón Llull Prize of the Balearic Government, will be run by Miguel San Miguel Fuster and the artistic and musical direction will be borne by the renowned José Maria Moreno Valiente. In total, they will be more from 170 artists between choir members, musicians and soloists.
El Verdi's Requiem It is considered one of the most spectacular works of this composer and was premiered at 1874. Verdi experienced a deep impression after the death of Alessandro Manzoni in 1873, which led him to complete this Requiem Mass that had begun 5 years before the death of Rossini.
