Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza fight against deforestation through the Dance For One Meter initiative, for only 1 euros it saves 1 metro2 from jungle forever!
Still have not heard that you can fight against climate change and deforestation while you have a great time? One more year, The Night League announces its collaboration with the initiative Dance For One Meter (D41M). So, all the clubbers that you are going to dance to Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and Hi Ibiza you have the possibility to contribute 1 € with what you can save 1 m2 from jungle forever.
In addition, you can select the coordinates of the Cuipo Foundations Reserve in the jungle of Brazil the square meter that you would like to sponsor through satellite technology and Google Earth.
Yann Pissenem, CEO and artistic director of The Night League says: “We are very proud to be part of this important initiative. We launched this collaboration last year with Hï Ibiza and we are very happy to have been able to extend it to Ushuaïa this year so that more people can get involved. “Deforestation is one of the most important environmental problems on the planet and we hope that everyone continues to do good work this year and donate to this important cause.”
It is worth remembering the dizzying speed at which the Amazon rainforest is disappearing: every second that passes we lose the equivalent in size to a jungle soccer field by the deforestation, that also creates more carbon emissions than any other industry. If we do not take urgent measures, the situation will soon be irreversible and will have terrible consequences on our lives. We can do a lot, but for now we can start...dancing!
