The Spanish group Jarabe de Palo and the Cuban singer Diana Fuentes will be with other artists on Thursday July 9 at the Ibiza Roots Festival in Dalt Vila
Ibiza Roots Festival presents its second summer appointment 2015 on Thursday July 9 from the 20 hours in the beautiful outdoor setting of the Bastion of Santa Lucia, in Dalt Vila, the beautiful old town of Ibiza declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
On this occasion the World Music under the stars will be headed by the well-known Spanish band Jarabe de Palowho disembarks on the island for the first time after 20 years of trajectory offering a concert in which it will review great successes as "The skinny one", "It depends", "Scream", "Pretty", "The dark side" or "Water". The group led by Pau Donés, who has received numerous awards throughout his career, will also take the opportunity to present his ninth and last album "We are", published in 2014.
In this second event of Ibiza Roots Festival will also be the Cuban singer Diana Fuentes, one of the most prolific and prestigious artists of its generation, with a style that encompasses Afro-Cuban sounds, pop, Jamaican dances, electronic music, hip hop, bolero and other genres. Diana Fuentes has just released her second album, The Bright "Planetary Planet", produced by Visitor (Eduardo Cabra) of 13 Street, with whom will share the stage at Ibiza Roots Festival.
In addition, to open the appointment will be the traditional Indian percussion group Nathunal Solanki & Sakapuntas (Master Nagara Drums), next to which the prestigious dancer will perform Marta Chandra by Kalbelia Dance, folkloric dances typical of the tribe of the charmers of cobras of the Thar desert.
