El Council of Ibiza has delivered a series of gifts to health personnel on the island, in recognition of their work during these months of pandemic, through the solidarity and artistic project "1000 Thanks".
An initiative that emerged last April and promoted by a group of 10 graphic artists from Ibiza: Trini Cambron, Marta Yanini, Hosh, Chine, Untaltoni, Mondobiq, Neck, Fossi, Raúl Moya and Tito Fernández, with the support of the Consell de Ibiza and collaborators such as the Abel Matutes Foundation, MTN, Sadipal, Fabriano, PrintXpress and Arteria.
Thanks to this collective effort, 1.000 copies of 10 works of art exclusively produced, serialized and signed, which will be delivered to health personnel in Ibiza.
Each of the works represents the vision of each artist on the Covid-19 health crisis, providing a message of optimism and hope.
The project "1000 Gracias" has a second phase where a series of murals in various places on the island.
The artist Tito Fernandez, promoter of this proposal, has explained that “They will help us to make everyone who sees them aware that this struggle, far from ending, is beginning and that we have time to live with the disease and that is why it is essential that we all beg conscientiously that we have to make a effort to comply with the rules and be respectful".
