Given the complicated economic situation that we are experiencing in Spain and Ibiza as a result of the Covid-19 crisis, the Consell de Ibiza announced more than a million euros in aid for the self-employed and micro-companies.
In total, 1 million euros that the Consell will put available to the 5 municipalities to be directed to help lines. This amount will allow to complete the games destined by each city council for this same concept. Joint and agreed bases have been established so that the people of Ibiza can access the aid under the same conditions, whether they live in the municipality they live in.
Ibiza will receive 400.000 euros, Santa Eulalia 300.000, San José and San Antonio 250.000 and San Juan 120.000 euros. These amounts are in addition to those already announced by the municipalities and could increase even more if the agreement is extended to the collaboration of the Balearic Government.
On the other hand, a Unified terrace closing hours throughout the island to avoid night movements and inconvenience to citizens. So from monday to thursday and sundays the terraces may open until 24 hours. The Fridays and Saturdays may close at 1 am.
