The famouso beach Playa d'en Bossa club Bora Bora Ibiza has announced that, after 40 years, it will close its doors next 15th October 2022, so this will be your last season.
Bora Bora Ibiza opened in 1982, and was the first beach restaurant with music from Ibiza. It has been a very popular place with its complex that includes almost a hundred apartments with a swimming pool, the beach club in front of the beach, a nightclub and several shops and restaurants.
Djs like Marco Carola, Claptone, Erick Morillo, Nic Fanciulli, David Morales or Todd Terry and those moments with the arms raised as planes pass above and characters like that Spiderman that danced tirelessly on the sand.
During the weeks that remain until its closure, Bora Bora Ibiza will open every day in extended hours, of 11 to 6 hours, with its “The last chance to dance” campaign.
And the future? At the moment, it is only known that the space will be reconverted, although it will continue to focus on restaurants and day and night entertainment. The managers of Bora Bora Ibiza will announce what the complex will become in 2023 once this season is over.
Without a doubt, one of the bomb news of this summer and that makes us say goodbye to a place that has been deeply linked to the musical history of Ibiza.
