Brasilio de Oliveira, one of the most important clubbing figures in Ibiza, has died on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in São Paulo (Brazil).
Brasilio owned the well-known bar Coco Loco from the Port of Ibiza, which years later would have its own mini residence, giving its name to one of the rooms of the KU disco (now Privilege).
A true pioneer, directed the KU programming in its golden age, organizing colorful and joyful parties inspired by Brazilian carnivals.
Later, Brasilio would create the mythical party La Troya, a true landmark of Ibiza nights. In its origins it was called The Killer Cow and it was held in KU. In addition, it started as a party aimed at a mostly gay public, but which soon became one of Ibiza's greatest hits, open to an audience of all sexual orientations. The party went through the Amnesia, Space nightclubs and, in recent years, was at the Heart Ibiza club.
Brasilio de Oliveira suffered from some ailments but planned to return to the island in spring to restart a new season of La Troya.
From here we want to send a fond memory to one of the great pioneers of music and party in Ibiza.
Rest in peace, Brasilio, and thank you for so many good times.
