La Posidonia It is a marine plant that is essential for the balance of our ecosystem, as it is responsible, among many other things, for the unique beauty and transparency of the waters of Ibiza and Formentera. This fall 2022, come back "Viu la Posidònia", a program organized by the Ibiza Town Hall to make it known and promote its conservation.
The initiative, which has been held since 2017, brings you in its sixth edition a lot of Funny activities to animate this autumn 2022, from the September 24 to December 3, 2022.
All activities are free.
Activities "Viu la Posidónia" 2022
Are offered dives to the Posidonia meadows to capture images of the plant and its flowering, as well as kayak and paddle surf visits in Figueretas, Talamanca and Playa d'en Bossa, diving baptisms, ecotourism routes, educational and awareness activities, the celebration of Posidonia Awards, a championship of Beach cleaning framed in the World Clean Day, astronomical observations, exhibitions, conferences...
In addition, the jewelers Elisa Pomar and Enric Majoral create collections inspired by posidonia and the seabed and the restaurants of the municipality of Ibiza will offer proposals related to this marine plant, with the collaboration of the Fishermen's Association.
