The Association Ibiza LGTB commemorating as every year on June 28 Gay Pride Day, has reported that the traditional Ibiza Pride, the activities that are organized every year in Ibiza for Pride, moves to this fall 2020.
Due to the health crisis situation caused by the coronavirus, the Great March for LGTBIQ + Rights that puts the finishing touch on Ibiza Pride and fills the streets of Ibiza with color and joy has not been organized this year.
However, the organization of the Pride has ensured that it will be held in the fall, when health and safety conditions allow it.
In addition, Ibiza LGTB has reiterated on this date of Pride its support for the trans community, "a Cvery vulnerable olective and who knows that he will always have the Ibiza LGTB Association at his side to fight for his rights ”, in the words of Antonio Balibrea, president of the association. Balibrea has also pointed out: “The trans community needs a lot of momentum to make them understand that a transsexual woman is not that she feels like a woman, she is a woman, just as a transsexual man is a man ”.
"On the day we celebrate LGBTIQ + Pride Day, we want to reiterate our commitment to the struggle of our collective, still oppressed and discriminated against in many parts of the world. We won't tire of repeating that loving is a human right and diversity a reality and we will always be ready to take this fight to the end ”, Balibrea has concluded.
