GAT Investments and Pacha Group presented, with the act of laying the first stone, the new tourist and commercial complex Lagoon Village 2.0, which will be one of the largest tourist complexes in southern Spain.
Authorities and businessmen from the area were present at the event, such as Elijah Bendodo, Counselor of the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía; Jose Maria Garcia Urbano, mayor of Estepona; Rosauro Varo, president of GAT Investments; Joseph Antoni Escandell, general manager of the Pacha Group and Paul Pool, Director of Operations of GAT Inversiones.
Covering 13.000 m2 and a grant of 1.200 m2 beaches, Laguna Village has a privileged location between Estepona and Marbella and aims to become a reference in the quality tourism, with a renewed andgastronomic and social focus. In addition, it will generate more than 1000 jobs direct and indirect.
Laguna will put the focus on circular economy, adapting the value chain, for this purpose, and in local trade, mainly integrating suppliers from the area. It also has an innovative architectural proposal that respects the environment, using wood and natural stones and looking for the Energy Efficiency .
A first jump of the Pacha Group to the Costa del Sol that will make Laguna Village 2.0 a first class tourist destination.
