Six Senses Ibiza, the exclusive resort in the Bay of Cala Xarraca, announces the launch of the Six Senses Ibiza Sustainability Fund, a project non-profit and financed with own resources thinking for support local organizations and initiatives that generate a positive social and environmental impact for Ibiza.
Every year, Six Senses Ibiza will allocate 0% of operating income of the resort and the 100% of those obtained from the sale to the guests of the toy-pet from Six Senses Ibiza, a charming rag hedgehog.
The term of submission of candidatures for the first edition the November 15th 2021 and it goes on until January 15, 2022.
Any organization or project aimed at improving the quality of life of people through actions and initiatives take care of the environment and that they contribute to sustainable development of Ibiza and its inhabitants.
The projects must demonstrate a benefit for the island in issues such as education, health, infrastructure, research, improvement of natural habitats and conservation of flora and fauna, among other categories. The commitment of the candidatures to at least one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of the United Nations.

The candidatures will be studied by a technical committee created for this purpose. The chosen projects will be announced in April 2022 in an act open to the public. The implementation and results of the projects will be monitored and evaluated by the technical committee to ensure compliance.
