The department Culture, Education and Heritage of the Consell de Ibiza has processed the concession of financial aid for the maintenance and management of the libraries belonging to the Network of Libraries of the Consell Insular de Ibiza.
A total of $111.678, of which $100.000 have been used to subsidize current expenses, and $11.678,35 a inventory expenses, of which 70% of the amounts granted will now be paid and 30% pending when 100% of the aid granted is properly justified.
These grants are destined, in particular, to the public libraries of Ibiza that are in: Jesús, San Miguel, San Carlos, Can Misses, Santa Gertrudis, Cala de Bou, Es Cubells, Figueretas and Sa Colomina.
The funds are destined to expenses for the acquisition of furniture, bibliographic collection, entertainment activities, hiring of personnel, telecommunications, maintenance of equipment and facilities, etc.
