Returns for its fourth edition on the island Nationale-Nederlanden Plogging Tour Ibiza, or just the Ibiza Plogging Tour, a fun experience that proposes you to carry out sport while collecting waste and garbage in nature.
In fact, as you probably already know, the word “plogging” comes from a combination of “jogging” (running) and the Swedish word “plocka upp” (picking up), and it is an activity that has been in fashion for a few years all over the world and has also reached Ibiza.
In addition to getting in shape and helping the planet, this year you will also support the important work of APNEEF, since 100% of the registration is for this NGO that helps people with special needs in Ibiza and Formentera.
Ibiza Ploggin Tour is held this year on Sunday 29 of October of 2023.
There are three circuits different programs, so you can choose the one that best suits your rhythm. Families, 2'5 km, includes adapted sports activities, workshops and games. There is also a Popular career de 5'6 km (you can participate by walking, jogging or running). Finally, Plogging Pro 11Km It is designed for those who are fitter or more demanding, in case you want to give it a go.
Bib pick-up is at 9 hours and the departure and beginning of the activity at 9:45 hours, all of this in Figueretas Walk.
The bib costs $5 for adults, 1 € for under 18 years y 2'5 euros for families and includes an eco bottle, an official bracelet, gloves and bags to carry out the activity.
In addition, in the area of Campus Plogging (in the Plaza de Julián Verdera in Figueretas), there will be a lot of fun activities for all ages such as classes fitness, zumba, recycling or art workshops, a space with information about local biodiversity through virtual reality, exhibitions, face painting, gymkhanas, collaborative games, exhibitions and a masterclass badminton.
